Creating any dessert your heart (or stomach) desires!
Haven't updated my blog in quite some time, so here we are....
Baking business is BOOMING! Please forgive my lack of blog posts lately because of this! I've created so many orders in the past couple of months and loved them all!
In June, I thought I'd try a new mix on cupcakes -- Dalmation Cupcakes!
These are Chocolate Cupcakes with a Cream Cheese & Chocolate Chip Filling (much like Cheesecake) topped with Cream Cheese Frosting & Semi-Sweet Mini Chocolate Chips. To die for -- when served chilled!
I loved baking these, but decided on a different approach with liners on these. The paper cupcake liners were not peeling off of the cupcake how I would have liked. All the cream cheese was coming with the liner, so I used my silicone baking liners and loved the results! The cream cheese filling bakes perfectly in the middle, leaving me happy and lots of customers happy!
One of my favorite cake flavors is.... SNICKERDOODLE! The mix of vanilla and cinnamon just seems to work together to make something unbelievably delicious! I love making Snickerdoodle cookies, cake, cupcakes, and I thought, "Why can't I make these into Cake Pops?"
I used my same thick, special blend recipe for making these, with just the right amount of cinnamon and some added sugar. After baking and cooling, the cake was formed into cake pops and covered in White Chocolate with some more added cinnamon.
These are truly the best cake pops that I have made, hands down!
Snickerdoodle Cake Pops and a Sports Themed 1/2 Sheet birthday cake are on the books for this week --pictures to follow!
Also working on my Ordering Page this week -- should be fun!
Changing my blog up some! Look for my new and improved blog soon! :)
I had a special request for a friend's son. He wanted a bunny cake -- I froze. I had never done a bunny cake in my life!
I could totally do it though -- confidence, right?
Well, I had my mind set on making a Bugs Bunny Cake. Carrots, Bugs Bunny, the whole nine yards....but I had no idea where to start.
Looked online, did some digging and decided the easiest way to get the cake done.
Went through a trial run -- yikes, that was all that came out of that. :)
Finished product turned out AWESOME! It seems that when I need something done most -- I pull it together.
I made these for fun and they were quite delicious!
Starts out with white cupcakes, lemonade, sour cream, and some cream cheese!
I'm not one to like "dense" cupcakes, but these were different. Definitely going to try these again!
